When you create an account or interact with the app, you may provide the following information voluntarily:

You can use MotiDice without creating an account. In this case, a temporary anonymous identifier is generated by Firebase Authentication to enable basic functionality. This identifier is not linked to any personal information and is discarded if you create a full account or delete the app.

Account-linked data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted within Google's infrastructure:

Each service operates under its own privacy policy:
No data is shared with any other third party, advertising network, or analytics provider beyond those listed above.
Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. We do not impose automatic data expiration on active accounts.
You can delete your account at any time directly from the app:
Profile → Delete Account → Confirm → Confirm again
Upon deletion, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems:
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no recovery process. We recommend exporting or noting any data you wish to keep before deleting your account.
Anonymous user data is stored on-device only. If the user upgrades to a full account, anonymous data is merged. Uninstalling the app removes all local anonymous data.
Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted. This data is anonymous and cannot be linked to individual users.
Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the following rights:

We implement the following security measures to protect your data:
MotiDice is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under the applicable age, we will take immediate steps to delete that data. Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, specifically in the United States and other regions where Google operates its Firebase infrastructure. These transfers are protected by:
The MotiDice mobile app does not use cookies. Firebase Analytics uses a device-generated instance ID for anonymous event tracking. This ID is not an advertising identifier and cannot be used to identify you personally. You can reset this ID by reinstalling the app.
